Promet
PROMET is based in Sosnowiec and was founded in 1958.
Initially, the company manufactured small metal haberdashery items. Its modest facilities significantly limited its development. From the beginning of the 1970s, contacts with leading electrical companies and the small-car factory in Bielsko-Biała marked the beginning of the company’s rapid development. A new production facility was built to meet the company’s requirements and provide suitable working conditions and opportunities for the professional development of blind people. At that time, production of the first control buttons was launched and continues to this day, as well as the production of brake cables for the FIAT 126p.
